At the end of the year

I had planned to make the last post of 2013 a reflective, philosophical, meaningful resume of the year, with grand resolutions for 2014.  However, like a lot of ideas recently, that hasn't quite materialised ;)

Instead, here are the latest quilt photos!

The weather continues to tease us; one minute it's fine, the next we're dodging a downpour.  The clouds that came over the flat this afternoon didn't leave anything to the imagination:

So what of 2014?  No New Years resolutions this year, I think.  Just the hope for good health and simple pleasures.  We have a wedding to look forward to and hopefully a house move (or two!) for various family members.  I intend to see the positives, focus on that which is good and accept that on occasions, I cannot change some things, no matter how much I may wish to.  The quilt will be finished, I will learn to make soap.  We will take each day as it comes and be thankful for it.

2014 - bring it on!
