. . . and for me, just setting up a blog myself was actually quite a big step! So I'm giving myself a virtual pat-on-the-back for having achieved that initial step. Hopefully, as confidence grows with proficiency, I shall be able to customise the blog to make it more interesting.
For some time, I have felt that life should be simpler than it is. Or rather, simpler than it seems to be. Having time on my hands following an early (but voluntary) departure from work, I began to read - books, articles, blogs - to see if others agreed. I soon discovered an army of like-minded people across the globe, all doing their bit towards living a simpler life. I have a lot to learn, and a long way to go, but, as the post title says, everyone has to start somewhere.
I intend this blog to be a record of my own small steps, with a bit of quilting, craft, gardening and general thoughts thrown in for good measure. If anyone accidently comes across this blog (I know all things are possible in the blogosphere!) do stop by to say hello.
